Arkansas Hospice will cover all medications that are consistent with the patient's hospice Plan of Care and are related to the terminal condition. Inclusion of a medication on this list does not imply automatic coverage. This PDL is designed to serve as a reference guide to assist in the selection of cost-effective pharmaceutical products. It is not intended to be a substitute for clinical knowledge and judgment. In all cases, the prescriber is expected to select appropriate drug therapy for the individual patient and provide high quality health care.
